Dr. Vicky Athanasiou is a born and bred proud New Yorker. She graduated from Stony Brook Dental University in 2015 and then completed a one-year rigorous residency program at Montefiore Medical Center, where she oversaw trauma cases. Since then, she has taken advanced education courses in cosmetic dentistry. She also has extensive training in Invisalign from the American Academy of Clear Aligners and is currently a top Invisalign Provider.
She prides herself on being a conservative and compassionate dentist and is always looking out for her patients. Her passion is to improve people’s smiles both functionally and cosmetically.
She started SMILELOUNGE with a vision to create a soothing environment, where patients can relax and actually enjoy their visit to the dentist!
Dr. Daria Ameri is a general dentist who is committed to providing the highest quality care to her patients. She received her doctorate degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.
Dr. Ameri then completed further training at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. There, she gained invaluable experience in treating patients with a variety of backgrounds and complexities.
She also worked alongside Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Pediatrics to treat patients with dental emergencies and facial traumas.
Dr. Ameri is passionate about education and staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry. She has continued to take countless continuing education courses, allowing her to be skilled in all facets of dentistry, including facial aesthetics, orofacial pain, and surgery.
She has also been involved in multiple research projects in the fields of dental materials, facial aesthetics, implantology, and oral medicine, traveling to conferences domestically and internationally to present her research.
Dr. Philip Grecco is a restorative and cosmetic dentist who provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages.
He earned his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry, graduating with honors and receiving advanced training in clear aligner therapy and special care dentistry.
He completed his postdoctoral residency at NYP-Weill Cornell and pursued additional coursework through the Pankey Institute, Tarnow-Chu Institute, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners, gaining experience in full-mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic procedures, and airway-focused dentistry at the Hindin Center.
Originally from Westchester County, he enjoys traveling, hot yoga, and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines.
Dr. Kareema Roushdy is a general and cosmetic dentist dedicated to exceptional patient care. She earned her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and completed a general practice residency at Coney Island Hospital, where she treated a wide range of complex cases.
Committed to staying current, Dr. Kareema regularly completes continuing education and is an active member of the American Dental Association. She prioritizes patient education, helping individuals understand their treatment and feel supported in a compassionate environment.
In her free time, Dr. Kareema enjoys cooking exciting new cuisines, traveling, oil painting, and golfing with her husband.
Dr. Masih Shahlaie is a board-certified Periodontist Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology.
He received his dental degree in 1996 from the Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he discovered his passion for Periodontics.
Dr. Shahlaie subsequently completed his post-graduate specialty program in Periodontics and obtained his Master of Science from Loma Linda University in 2001.
He has served as an assistant professor at Loma Linda University and has also served as an examiner for the Arizona State Board for Oral Sedation Licensure.
Dr. Shahlaie is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the General Dental Council.
In his spare time, Dr. Shahlaie enjoys soccer, tennis, and cooking.
Dr. Vishaal Agrawal is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received his dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2012 & his medical degree from Stony Brook University in 2016.
He completed his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Northwell Health in 2018 and served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Agrawal aims to provide the highest quality of care to all his patients.
He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, NYSDA, and NYSSOMS.
In his spare time, Dr. Agrawal enjoys playing tennis, trying new restaurants, & developing his oral surgery skills.
